It’s the weekend. You’re running around getting caught up on every aspect of your life that you didn’t have time to do during a hectic work week. The energy on Saturday is always positive and invokes a “can do” attitude to check off all the “to dos” so you can sit back and maybe catch up on your favorite show on Sunday. The last thing you expect, is to spend the night at an emergency veterinary clinic with your beloved furry friend, fighting for her life.

As a life long believer in everything happens for a reason, that theory does not apply if anyone in my family, with or without fur, is sick. But I do believe when you are served a basket of lemons – you have to look at ways to squeeze the heck out of them to get lemonade.
