Orlando, FL, October 17, 2012 – Orlando will be host this year for the 64th Annual Meeting of the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) , being held at the Marriott World Center November 7-10, 2012.
NHF’s Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of the bleeding disorders community in the United States, with more than 3,000 guests attending. It is unique in bringing together not only patients and their families, but healthcare providers, industry representatives, chapter staff and volunteers. The theme of this year’s conference is “Mapping Our Future.”
This year, the event will start out with a new twist – the 1st Annual TEXAS HOLD ‘EM TOURNAMENT and SILENT AUCTION hosted by Career Solutions International ( CSI Group).
The proceeds of the Poker Tournament and Silent Auction will benefit NHF’s Travel Scholarship Fund, aimed at increasing educational access to families that would benefit from attending conferences just like this one.
The National Hemophilia Foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for inheritable bleeding disorders and to preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and research.
“We are honored to be hosting this event for NHF. The event will set the stage for an evening of fun teamed with a spirit of giving back. The positive response we have gotten from the community has overwhelmed us,” says Suzette DiMascio, CEO of CSI Group. “We have a limited amount of sponsorships left, and a handful of seats left to play in the tournament.”
